Horray for Fall!

I am so excited for fall! On October 1st I ripped out the Halloween decorations and went crazy! The preschool room even got a makeover- Halloween style!

I found this cute Halloween eye chart on line and thought it looked cute on my black door.

I also found this idea (well actually a lady in my ward found it and I stole it from her) but I decided to try it out for Christi for her birthday. I think it turned out really cute!


In September Ayla got to be in her primary program. She was so excited and did such a great job. Also that weekend she got to keep Felix the Frog for preschool so she had to take a picture with Felix after her program.
Finally, I helped plan and decorate for my cousin's bridal shower. Her theme is peacock feathers and I had a great time putting it together. I think it turned out really cute!
Christi and I tried our hand at a fruit peacock- I think it turned out really cute, although Jayden did ask why we were making a turkey out of a watermelon.

5th Anniversary

Five years ago today Bret and I were married for Time and All Eternity in the Mesa, Arizona Temple! It has been a great five years!

California

Last weekend we went and visited the Giffords in California. We had a great time. We got there on Wednesday night. Thursday we hung out and took the kids swimming. Friday we got a babysitter and went to six flags. I surprised Bret with the outing for our upcoming anniversary. We spent Saturday at the beach. After church on Sunday we reluctantly came home. To prove the fact that we wanted to stay I'm pretty sure we left half of our stuff at their house! Thanks for letting us stay! We had a great time visiting you!
